What's all this buzz about?

As a Racine mom of 4 kids, I am so excited to share with you this new kid on the block, Just Add Kids, born out of my passion and the need for every mom, dad, grandparent, educator, and childcare provider to quickly access timely, kid-friendly, family-oriented fun opportunities available in the Racine, Kenosha, and surrounding communities. I refer to him/her as JAK, for short.
Currently, the website provides calendar items driven by what the community wants to let you know about, and what you'd like to inform area families about. I look forward to your contributions, whether it's a school open house, theater performance, sports registration start dates, or a benefit event to help a family in crisis.

This valuable, one-stop calendar of events is only the beginning. JAK continues to grow up with the addition of the JAK MarketPlace Business Directory, plus seasonal directories such as Camp JAK, JAK-tivities! and Resale Resource. Check back for more school options, childcare facilities, recreation and enrichment programs, retail shops, health care providers, parks, etc. listings in our directories. New content is continually being added.
JAK is three! In celebration of this milestone, (and it's ridiculously important for us parents & birthday kids) Just Add Kids is throwing an on-line party with the JAK Birthday Bash. Check out the growing list of children's birthday party destinations, suppliers, and entertainers.
Who doesn't like contests? While JAK may not be running a contest all of the time, check our Contest page frequently...we love to be spontaneous!
